Fire walls are provided in buildings as an integral part of the life-safety and egress systems. They break large buildings into smaller fire-areas for containment, and enclose the paths of escape in the event of an emergency.
Fire walls have become a particular area of expertise for DAI. In this project, we were retained to evaluate as-built conditions and then replicate them in a lab-setting to test for compliance. There are an extraordinary number of factors that go into successfully built fire walls, and DAI has the expertise to measure their durability.
